An oracle is a person or persons considered to be the source of wise counsel or prophetic opinion; an infallible authority, usually spiritual in nature. It can also be a prediction of the future, from deities, that is spoken through another object or life-form. In the ancient world many sites gained a reputation for the dispensing of oracular wisdom: they too became known as “oracles”, as did the oracular utterances themselves, whose very name is derived from the Latin verb orare, to speak.

I see often people here with high praise for another individual that professes to be a leader, teacher, mystic, avatar, etc.  There are many words to describe the individual or group that has caught our attention.  I too have been under the sway of another teacher or group of “enlightened” people.  But the fact remains, in my humble opinion, that we don't really need another group or individual, no matter how advanced or enlighted to show us the way.  We are all creators.  For example….who was the spiritual mentor to the Buddha, or the Christ, or any other religiious or spiritual figure?  Jesus told us we could all surpass him in wonders and miracles.  If we can surpass Him, then, what does that make us?  We are all creators, each and everyone of us, and we each create our lives and experiences on the planet. 

If you are wondering why I have the title of Oracle, it is because I can occasionally see the future in visions or dreams, and then I see it come to pass.  I am fascinated with the god Apollo, because he was worshiped for about the same amount of years that Christians have been worshipping Jesus.  2,000 years or so.  Apollo was also the god of oracles and I find that interesting.  I do not worship Apollo, and yet I still see the future clearly at times.
